In Terrazzo, natural stones within stoneware create surfaces rich in color and detail, giving room brightness. The effect originated in ancient Greece and then evolved in the history of Italian architecture. "Terrazzo" or "terrazzo alla veneziana" was the effect of flooring made with mixtures of mortar and marble fragments found in Art Nouveau-style stately homes. Today it is very current and trendy choice for those who design an exquisite space but also for those who want to approach a modern and contemporary style.
